The Lake Club is the hub of all BLR social activities and dining. Also located here are the 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pools and hot tubs, coffee shop, gift Shop, private theatre room, billiards table, shuffleboard, gorgeous mountain views and quick access to The Point, Beach, and The Marina.
Bear Creek Lake is a highlight of Bear Lake Reserve, and our full-service marina makes it easy to enjoy the water however you like. Take a relaxing cruise with family on one of our pontoons, explore with friends in kayaks or canoes, or amp up the excitement with our ski boat and watersports gear. Bringing your own boat? You can rent a dock slip too.
A Challenging 9-hole Course with Views So Nice, You’ll Want to Play Twice. Experience unrivaled mountaintop golf from the world’s first 9-hole Nicklaus Design®️course. This strategically designed masterpiece at the summit features incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in all directions and two of the toughest par 4 holes you’ll ever play. Sitting at 1300 feet above Bear Creek Lake our Golf Club also features a well-equipped Pro Shop, putting green, and driving range.
Nestled beneath the trees and adjacent to the golf course, pickleball & tennis courts at the summit provide an excellent racquet sport experience for beginners and pros alike. Seasonal programming features owners’ leagues, round robin mixers, clinics, tournaments, open play opportunities and more. You can even rent and purchase any equipment you may need at the Pro Shop or Bear n’ Bean.
Explore more than a dozen trails covering 20+ miles with varying difficulty levels winding throughout BLR. Adventures for all ages and fitness levels are available within the property and surrounding areas. Guided hikes are available as well as maps for those that prefer self-guided tours.
Located near the entrance to BLR, Mill Pond Pavilion offers open catch-and-release fishing from the twin ponds, a disc golf course, and a serine area to gather for a picnic as well as other parties and organized events.

Bear Lake Reserve was truly a great place to relax and have a great time. We stayed at Bear Lake Reserve for four nights. The views were amazing during the day and the sky was beautiful at night. There was so much to do on the reserve.
